The University of Nova Gorica is offering several positions of ASSISTANT (doctoral student) in the field of material science(m/f)
We invite applications from candidates interested in environmental and energy materials. The successful candidate will be directly involved in research work in the field of functional materials for sustainable technologies in Materials Research Laboratory.

As part of their employment, the candidate will work towards attaining a PhD degree as a student in the doctoral study program Materials (Third level) at the Graduate School of the University of Nova Gorica.
In accordance with their appointment, the successful candidate will also take on teaching duties in the field of chemistry or material science in selected study programmes at the university.
The employment will be possible immediately after the selection procedure or when agreed. The employment is offered for full-time working hours over a fixed term of one year with possibility for extension.
The successful candidate should satisfy the following requirements:
- Master's (2nd-cycle) degree or equivalent in the field of materials, chemistry, physics or similar,
- enrolment in the 3rd-cycle program in Materials (Third level) at the Graduate School of the University of Nova Gorica in the 2022/23 academic year,
- good command of English.
