Laboratory of Organic Matter Physics
Research areas
The laboratory focuses on research in the field of 2D materials and their Van der Waals heterostructures, and in the field of organic electronics. The research is mainly devoted to the study of the electronic properties of materials, which are interesting for new types of electronic elements, organic solar cells, organic transistors, photodetectors and memory elements. Another aspect of our research is dedicated to the study of biologically relevant systems, which include e.g. biosensors based on organic transistors and ion-electronic conductive materials. In additon, we have established strong cooperation with an international network of research laboratories working in the field of materials science.
We also offer work to students of technical fields as part of their internships or diploma/master's theses.
Research equipment
Laboratory owns comprehensive setup of different processing and characterization facilities.
