The school members of the University of Nova Gorica among the recipients of the ZRC SAZU awards
At yesterday’s award ceremony titled Generations the Research Centre of the Slovenian Academy of Sciences and Arts – ZRC SAZU - gave away awards for scientific achievements in the field social studies and humanities in 2015.
Two school members of the University of Nova Gorica were among the recipients. Prof. Dr. Tanja Pipan received the ZRC SAZU “golden sign” award, and Prof. Dr. Stane Granda received the ZRC SAZU “researcher emeritus” award.
Prof. Dr. Tanja Pipan is a research counselor at the Karst Research Institute at ZRC SAZU and an Associate Professor for biology at the School of Environmental Sciences and the Graduate School of the University of Nova Gorica.
Prof. Dr. Stane Granda is a research counselor at the ZRC SAZU Milko Kos Historical Institute and a full professor of cultural history at the School of Humanities, University of Nova Gorica. Last year, he became Professor Emeritus at the University of Nova Gorica.
